The Organic God is based on a spiritual journey I took several years ago. I had reached a point in my spiritual journey where I felt flat, disconnected from God. In bed, late at night, I would quietly wonder, Is this all there is? I was just tired of hearing what everyone else said about God and I wanted to know him for myself.

I developed my own game plan. I figured that if I wanted to know God, the best place to go was the Book. (Have you ever noticed how giving someone a book is an invitation to a deeper conversation, a fuller relationship?) I began going through the entire New Testament and sections of the Old Testament and writing down ever verse that revealed something about God.

The things I learned and discovered, well, they make up the background as well as some of the foreground of The Organic God DVD. This study is an intimate portrayal of what it looks like to hunger after God, seek him, hear his voice, and at the end of the day still sit in humble wonder of who he is and what he could possibly do next. It’s about stripping away the things that stand in the way of our relationship with God—removing the additives, the artificial sweeteners, the processed formulas. My hope is that you will find yourself falling in love with God all over again through this study.
I look forward to hearing your insights and your discoveries about God. Please post below! I am excited to interact with you through this blog.

I love the book and I am so excited to be sharing it with two different bible study groups. The first group starts this Sunday and I pray that God will be present and as you say, forge the way for us all to know him more naturally. Thank you for the awesome enthusiasm and great materials to seek God and know he is there. I look forward to letting you know how it goes.

Margret,
When you were at Wake, did you know the Rev. Car? He was my Aunt's father.

Wow, Margaret, what a wonderful gift you have of putting into words what most of us want to see in our relationship with God! I have been reviewing your videos, book and questions for an upcoming small group that I will be facilitating in the fall and I am so totally impressed with this study! You have such contagious joy! This past weekend you showed me Zephaniah 3:17 in a new way. Wow, to think my "Daddy" twirls around me in love. I love how euphoric that was for me. I hope and pray that together this contagious joy can be instilled to others. I am a single parent and my daughter (17) will greatly benefit from this study as well because of the insecurities of not being accepted by someone who should have loved us unconditionally. Thank you, Margaret and Jeff for giving your lives over to Him in service. Eternity is all that matters and that is what we are working toward.
In His Care,
Becky Landrum
P.S. Thank you for my note I received from you. That was a very personal touch that impressed me on who YOU are because of who HE is.

I am so excited to dig into your book more, I'm a few chapters in and our women's bible study doesn't start for a few more days!
You are such a great writer. I can't wait to see how your words help find ways to bring us closer to our glorious Father.

I am interested to learn about the cover design. What is the significance of the blue? Can you explain?

i have been leading a small group of ladies through the organic god dvd study and it has been incredible! we will have our last session tomorrow nite. We have both new believers and those who have been believers for awhile and this study has proven to increase hunger to truly know God in both new and seasoned. your book is very easy to read and the study has encouraged many in depth conversations among our group. we always leave with a sense of knowing him better and yet with a sense that there is so much more to know. what an incredible God we serve! thankyou for sharing your heart in this book. we have decided to continue meeting and learning together.
Redeemed by His love,
patricia

Rachel,

The image is simply the idea of one thing affecting another in a pure and beautiful way much like have something infused would. Infusing our lives with the beauty and purity of God--that is the concept!

Best, margaret

Margaret,

What a blessing your life journey is to me! As a former missionary and not understanding the circumstances as to why we had to come home, I had gone through times of doubt and abandonment. Reading your book just helped me realize the bigger picture and to know that my God is so real.
God bless.

Hey everyone..Just letting you know that this is a great study in which you get to throw out the Pharisee in you and your group and be the real deal...a sinner looking for Jesus. If you want to truly be transformed, then you will. If you want to just get more knowlege you will feel this is fluffy. If you take the time to soul search and change your life, than you will. Take the uncomfortable route and let God change you into who he wants you to be, i'm going for it!

Margaret, I just joined a women's bible study and we are working through The Organic God! We are just one week in and am I already in awe of what God is revealing through you. I am anxious to get back to group on Tuesday morning and hear what the other ladies are learning as well. Thank you for allowing God to use you.

Sarah

P.S. My lifelong passage is Psalms 91! :-)

I am excited about beginning this study starting this Friday and ending the week before Christmas. I am praying for God's guidance in leading a single's group of men and women in expriencing and relating to God in ways they may not have considered. In Christ , Fuzzy

I'm getting ready to lead this study and was wondering if you would suggest participants having both workbook and book, or is the workbook alone sufficient? thanks.

I love this idea. Did it really move? Where can I be connected with everyone?
